QUICK OPENING DOOR
Quick opening closures are used to allow a quick and easy access inside pressure equipments, such as scraper traps or filters. They are opened without any tool, preventing risk of stark, and are a great time-saver for operating staff. Thanks to its clamp closure, our quick opening closure is so easily manipulated by only one person that it becomes then inevitable for operators. The perfect closure is also clearly visible to avoid accidental opening under pressure. VISTA TECH ENGINEERING COMPANY, currently manufactures quick opening closures to ASME SEC VIII DIV.1,2 in which installed vertically and horizontally on pressure vessels relating to Oil&Gas transmission pipeline and facilities.
HUB&CLAMPS (YOKE TYPE):
The Yoke Style Closure is compact in size and functional in design with both configuration of horizontal and vertical. A typical unit consists of a forged hub, a hinged blanking head, split-yoke clamps, operating bolts, and a 0-ring gasket. Materials of construction are in accord with ASME specifications and manufacture complies with applicable rules of the ASME Code for Pressure Piping and with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
BAYONET TYPE:
The BayonetQ.O.C closures are engineered, designed and built according to the most stringent international standards applicable to pressure vessels for oil, gas and petrochemical industry in general, but the revolution is represented by integrated services in order to ensure the best performance during throughout the life cycle of the product. The possibility of being disassembled through the action of a single bolt, enables the installer to handle the device without jeopardizing the functionality of the critical parts, such as might happen in the case of heat treatments or other operations more or less invasive . Similarly, the maintenance operations are greatly facilitated. The Bayonet quick opening closure locking mechanism is a rotating teethed door and relevant matching hub which transmits loads uniformly to the full 360° circumference of the neck by means of equal spaced teeth. The locking mechanism incorporates a hand operated pressure warning device which prev ents the door being unlocked until there is no residual pressure inside the vessel. The Bayonet closure could utilize a purpose designed servo acting double edged lip seal which energizes at zero pressure. The seal incorporates a stainless steel anti-extrusion spring and provides a full vacuum capability. There is no pressure bolting on the Bayonet closures. The closure necks and doors are manufactured from plates or forged materials which comply with the requirements of ASTM code.
